Here we go!

This is a portion of an email Aaron sent out to the team this morning:

Hey Guys,

The time has FINALLY come!!! 24 hours from now we will be in Chicago and on our way to Kenya. I told a friend of mine this morning that I feel really confident that our team has prepared to the best of our ability. Thank you all for sharing in that process. I think our effort will be worth it.

- On August 8th at 7 PM, we will have a Kenya Celebration/Share Time up at the church building. This will be a great time for you to share your experience with friends and family who have been a part of your journey. Mark it on your calendar and spread the word.

Someone said they are praying for the pilots to be rested and alert for their flights. That sounds like a great thing to be praying for today - along with the nervousness, anxiousness and realm of emotions that first time world travelers are experiencing.

Dude those pilots need some Family Force 5 to listen to while they are flying. That will keep them awake and their passengers safe. Who knew Family Force 5 could save lives?!

Hey, maybe some of us on the team could sing some of Family Force 5 songs for the pilots, just in case they don't have it piped into the cockpit...ha! ha! Maybe prayers need to be said for the rest of the passengers on the flights with our sweet team of 33 and then 34 after we leave London!!! Oh, gosh, I can't begin to imagine the baggage check-in!!!

Love to all of you...we will miss you!
